The Relationship Between Serum Albumin Level and Nutritional Parameters with Mortality Rate, For Icu-Covid-19 Patients at Hazem Mebaireek General Hospital (HMGH), State of Qatar (March to September / 2020)

There is limited information available describing the clinical and epidemiological features of COVID-19 patients at (HMGH) in Qatar, also there lack reporting about temporal association Malnutrition severity COVID-19. This study was aimed to describe relationship between serum albumin levels certain nutritional parameter with mortality rate for ICU-COVID-19 patients. The conducted retrospectively on a group adult patients, who were admitted ICU HMGH, from 01/04/ 2020 30/09/ 2020, who’s discharged hospital, whether recovered or expired, if they met following inclusion criteria: ≥ 18 years age, laboratory confirmed positive Data HMGH will be extracted electronic medical record (EMR). Total 1059 among them 78 (7.4%) females 981(92.6%) males. Comparing nationality 93(8.78%) Qatari 966(91.21%) non-Qatari, 951 (89.8%) survived & 108 (10.2%) non survived, furthermore 12 (11.1 %) non-survived 96 (88.9 non-Qatari. In results it found that 136 (12.8%) had Hyperlipidemia, 75 (7.1%) obesity, 577 (54.5%) diabetes, 513 (48.41%) hypertension, 129 (12.2%) chronic lung disease. 581 value below 35 gm/L admission 768 before discharge. 478 level above 291 Among (100%) low death 80 (74.1%) 28 (25.9%) admission.
